You Smiled
This bead is named for the poem, You Smiled,
by Walter Savage Landor (1775-1864).
You can read more about the bead at Beadshaper
Incidentally, The Beadshaper is presenting her work Saturday and Sunday, Aug 6 and 7, at Ayla's Originals in Evanston, Illinois.
You smiled, you spoke and I believed,
By every word and smile- deceived.
Another man would hope no more;
Nor hope I- what I hoped before.
But let not this last wish be vain;
Deceive, deceive me once again!
